Justice For Girls - Lose your gift Card? Oh well says Justice customer service. "nothing we can do".
My daughter misplaced a gift card that was purchased for her on her birthday. I called Justice customer service and asked what the policy was for that issue.
I was told that all I needed was the receipt and they would check to see if it had been used and if not, they would issue us another one. So I called the person that purchased the gift card and they said they no longer had the receipt but she could get the CC statement which shows the purchase. I called Justice customer service back and explained the situation. I was then told that they would be able to use the info from the CC statement and that I would just need to email it to them and they would verify that it had not been used and issue us another one.
It took a while for me to receive the email with the CC statement from the purchaser and then a little while longer to call them back for the email address to send it to. when I called back I was told that there was nothing they could do, that Justice policy only allows them to issue a new card with the original receipt. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told the same thing. The CC statement had the purchase #, store # and everything and they would not except that.
I feel like they are thieves. So basically, Justice has lost a customer in me for good. If you don't have the receipt, whether it was a gift or not, you will not be able to get any help from them. I informed the supervisor that I would no longer be purchasing anything from them and that I would be returning some items I had just bought from their store a few days ago (with receipt of course) because of this.
Still nothing. Apparently, they do not care about losing customers and all the potential $$ that come along with us.
